Key Roles of CIO, Global Change Management Leader Named by Golder Associates

Golder Associates Corporation, a global engineering, construction and technical services organisation, has made two key leadership appointments that are charged with helping to carry out our firm's global strategic and business plans. Emmanuel Rodriguez is the new Global Chief Information Officer (CIO). He will oversee the information systems, including the technical and architectural infrastructure needed for Golder's strategic growth.

Emmanuel has more than 20 years of experience as a CIO, including considerable international experience in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. He has led major system consolidation efforts, has developed, negotiated, and implemented large outsourcing deals, and has played strategic roles in large M&A transactions.

He has held CIO positions in several industries such as investment banking, wealth management, insurance, government, and, more recently, was a consulting partner with a management consulting firm in Sydney, Australia.

With a masters degree in information technology and management from Sorbonne University in Paris, France, Emmanuel is multi-lingual in English, French, Spanish, and Japanese. He is based in Redmond, Washington.

Scott Bissessar is the Global Leader for Change Management. In this role, Scott will oversee the development and delivery of change management services, including risk mitigation strategies and services, to support Golder leaders and managers involved in ongoing global initiatives. Scott's work will include further development of Golder's change management methodology, in order to build our strategic change leadership capability and wider organisational change capability.

Scott has held senior line human resource positions, including most recently as global change manager with Shell based in The Hague, Netherlands.

He is also a consultant on leadership for senior executive education programs at IMD, an international business school in Lausanne, Switzerland. Scott holds a bachelor degree from Queen's University, Canada, an MBA from IMD, and a Masters in organisation behavior from Tavistock, (London, UK). He is a member of the Human Resources Professionals Association in Canada. He is also board member of the Challenge Factory (Toronto) and Cabo Blue (Mexico). He is fluent in French and German and is based in our Mississauga, Ontario, Canada office.
