Assignment
Golder provided geotechnical engineering, environmental and permitting services during proposal, design and construction of a 6 kilometre long design-build-finance-operate highway/bridge replacement project.
Our Role
Golder designed rock cuts up to 80 metres high and rock socketted pile foundations for a four-lane, six-span, 400 metre long bridge 100 metres above Kicking Horse River. Golder produced foundation recommendations for ten mechanically stabilized earth walls, designed overburden support methods, provided construction advice, information for permits, design of environmental remediation and environmental monitoring during construction.
