The EPA, federal land managers, Utah Department of Environmental Quality (UDEQ) and the Ute Indian Tribe, in cooperation and funding from industry, recognized that there was a requirement to address potential air quality impacts in the Uinta Basin area as a result of the growth of energy development in this area.

Our Role
Golder was retained to analyze the source environment and then design, procure, integrate, install and operate a two station ambient air quality and dispersion meteorology network following strict requirements of EPA's Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) and special purpose monitoring quality assurance guidelines.
