Beginning in 1960, Golder offered services in soil mechanics and foundation engineering. This rapidly expanded to include rock mechanics in the 1970s.
In the 1980s, we expanded our groundwater expertise into the broader field of hydrogeology, specifically to address contaminated soil and groundwater. When the early-1990s brought increased environmental awareness, we expanded our biological capabilities, especially in aquatic and terrestrial biology and toxicology.
